Paisajes Antropomorficos.

Como su nombre indica "Paisajes Antropomorficos" es una temática que representa, entornos relacionados con el habitat, las costumbres y los objetos del ser humano.
Juan Luis Quintana representa todo un mundo de formas que surgen de ideas abstractas, y que se concretan y transforman en cosas reconocibles, sin perder sin embargo su lado de ambigüedad.
Pinturas como –Reliquiario (Relicario), Colapsos genéticos, Totems, Ceramica funeraria, Habitat, Eclipse, Singor, etc. son pinturas cuyas formas surgen de lo arquetípico; y que por tanto transmiten un lado arcaico de prototipos de cosas, cuyos elementos transcienden su propia belleza, en lo que podria ser el recuerdo de las cosas ideales y primitivas.
El interés del artista por descubrir formas nuevas esta sugerido a taves del contorno, el primer plano, y el fondo.
El color es intimista o evocador de paisajes interiores, con un color de intensidad suave.

Cuando un objeto nos transmite belleza esta mas allá de lo funciónal; y asi es como los objetos antiguos que ya no son funcionales pueden transmitir esa sensación de que estan o han estado hechos para transmitir algo más.
